Peggy Nave

Life Story for Peggy Lorraine Nave
Peggy was born May 8, 1934, and passed away at age 84 on September 6,
2018. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Don Nave, and their three
children, Jamie, Russell (Marilyn) and Lauren; grandsons Parker and Grant; her sisters,
Joyce Bartlett, Dixie Diane (D.D.) Rosprim, Shirley Sweeney, June Warren, and Lynette
Harris, and brother Ed Harris. She was preceded in death by her brother Fred Harris, and
her sister Celia Faye Harris.
Peggy enjoyed leading Jamie’s Girl Scout troop, building costumes for Lauren’s
theater productions, and she hand-made clothing for and repaired used dolls for children
living in shelters. Along with Don, Peggy was a member of the local Rusty Relics of
Antelope Valley Gas Engine & Tractor Club. She loved going for rides in the desert in
Russell's Model T, and was an involved, loving and wise Grammie to her grandsons.
We take comfort in our fond memories of Peggy's deep love for family, her
wonderfully positive nature, her warm smile and hug, and her delight in being a wife,
mother, grandmother, sister and neighbor. She will be missed by all who had the great
pleasure of knowing her.
