Alfred William (Bill) Trolinger Jr, 72, of Acton, CA, passed away peacefully on July 22nd, 2023, in his sister's home in Littlerock, CA. surrounded by his family after his brave fight with cancer.
Bill was born October 28th, 1949, in Elgin, IL, and was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Alfred Trolinger Sr and Elvina (Inky) and his brother, Kenneth Lee. He is survived by his former wife, Phyllis Luque, the mother of their 6 children: DeeDee McCoy, Sandra Garces, Dorothy Hernandez, Alfred Trolinger III, Jesse Trolinger, and Amanda Trolinger. Bill had 19 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 5 sisters: Carol Wanner, Ruby Weir, Jackie Taylor, Donna Schlicht, and Dotti Greenstreet.
Alfred was affectionately known as "Uncle Bill" to his many nieces, nephews, and countless friends who all loved him. Bill served in the Army, Army Reserves, and the National Guard where he honorably retired in 2009. He is known for patriotism to the United States and his love of the Trolinger genealogy.
A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 5th, 2023, 1 p.m., at the Sunland Foursquare Church located at 10602 Sherman Grove Avenue, Sunland, CA. He will be going home to his final resting place, next to his parents, at the Laurel Oak Cemetery in Windsor, MO, on Oct. 6th, 2023.
